Dr. Roel Rosales earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy in 2026. His interest in pursuing residency training began during his first year of pharmacy school, when he learned about opportunities to further develop his clinical skills through postgraduate training. Aspiring to become a clinical pharmacist and contribute to an interprofessional healthcare team, he recognized residency as the ideal next step in achieving his professional goals.

As a native of the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Rosales was passionate about returning home to serve the community that helped shape him. He chose Valley Baptist Medical Center because it provides the opportunity to give back to a patient population with which he strongly identifies with while continuing to grow as a clinician.

His professional interests include Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, and Emergency Medicine, and he hopes to pursue a PGY2 residency in one of these specialties. Outside of pharmacy, Roel enjoys playing video games with friends and catching up on sleep.
