Continuing Medical Education

An Educational Resource for Today’s Physicians

Our Continuing Medical Education program is designed to improve patient care through organized programs for doctors throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Programs are available year-round for meeting medical license renewal requirements.

For each hour of participation with the program, physicians can claim 1 credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). Our subscription-based clinical information resource, UpToDate, automatically tracks the time you spend using the service. You may claim up to 50 AMA PRA Category 1 credits per certificate.

Our CME program helps health care providers:

  • Address educational needs
  • Remove medical practice inefficiencies
  • Enhance the competency and performance
