Dr. Daniel Hurtado is a Clinical Pharmacist at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree with honors from the Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. After graduation, he completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville and remained with the organization as a clinical pharmacist. He is board certified in pharmacotherapy.

Dr. Hurtado precepts pharmacy residents in cardiology and advanced cardiology and serves as a cardiology preceptor for student pharmacists. His professional interests include cardiology, infectious diseases, and critical care. Outside of pharmacy, Daniel enjoys spending time with family and playing basketball.
