Dr. Alejandra Juarez is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy and is board certified in Pharmacotherapy, Infectious Diseases, and Critical Care Pharmacy.

Dr. Juarez serves as the Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy Lead and holds an Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate from the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). She serves as a preceptor for Infectious Diseases learning experiences for pharmacy residents and student pharmacists.

She is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). Her professional interests include infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and critical care.
