To provide you with the most accurate diagnosis possible, our doctors turn to the Imaging Services Department at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Here, our staff of board-certified radiologists and nationally registered technologists works to provide clear, accurate images of the inner body.

Radiology Services
Our Radiology services include diagnostic radiology, breast ultrasounds, 3D Mammography, bone densitometry, angiography suites, a cystography room, biopsies, drainages and much more.
Imaging Services
Our imaging services include digital radiographic/fluoroscopic rooms, 64-slice computed tomography (CT) scanners with 3D imaging, MRI rooms, digital mammography at our breast center and a fully equipped nuclear medicine division. Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen is also features 3T MRI technology - the most advanced imaging technology of its kind, producing clearer images of anatomical detail in shorter periods of time, offering advantages in diagnosing patients affected by brain, spine, and musculoskeltal issues.

The first of its kind in South Texas, our Valley Baptist Micro Hospital – Weslaco provides both emergency care and general acute care, as it is a full-service hospital, in a more intimate setting. Our services are more sophisticated than a standard freestanding emergency room. We provide a level of higher medical care – just like our flagship hospital, Valley Baptist Medical Center – Harlingen. We are supported by specially trained physicians, nurses and techs, who can offer the personal attention that patients expect and deserve.
