About Angel Perez
Dr. Angel Perez is originally from Lima, Peru. He received his medical degree and completed a Neurology residency in Peru at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia. Here in the United States, he completed a Neurology residency at the University of Memphis Health Science Center. Following his Neurology residency, he completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disorders at the University of Memphis Health Science Center. Dr. Angel Perez is a staff neurologist with over 15 years of experience. He came to the Rio Grande Valley from Dallas where he worked for about 4 years. He is excited to join the Neuroscience Institute program with Valley Baptist Physician Network and to make the Valley his home. Dr. Perez is also fluent in Spanish.

I got through it well enough. The doctor was affable and informative just and made a doozie of a session. But once again. What's next? Surgery by proxy...and then the line drops? "TELEMEDICINE". SHIT. So much for the "patient/doctor relationship". I can imagine it now. Dentistry by Phone. Oh yeah. Wonderful.

The doctor was fine. No problem with him at all, However, to say that teleconferencing is neat would be plain straight up bullshit. Understood though considering COVID-19 conditions, but bullshit nonetheless. I'll never get used to it. A doctor visit...on a phone. What's next? Med School by phone? Surgery 101 by cellphone and Q&A by Text? Gotta be kiddin' me. Who in Hell likes that shit? C.mon now. Are you serious?
