The time allocated to the consultation was very brief and the Dr was up to the point: I read your MRI, this is what it tells me, this is what need to be done, this is how I will do it, this is the follow up. Like bullet pointsI do not recall any conversation about risks or benefits, although few days later I was given a document to sign, stipulating that my doctor discussed any risks with me. I did tell the Op-nurse that I had no such discussion, but I signed it anyway. I am very confident in this doctor because of his professional Itinerary and his long established experience in the field. And because I cannot go into something like this not feeling confident, but no, my personal interaction with Dr Horton in itself did not particularly put me more at ease or less at ease than when I decided to put my faith in him.

My treatment is a series of 3 injections given weekly, I'll go back to complete the series, that could be repeated in 6 months if needed, which I'm planning to do but that is thanks to the PA Jaime Do?es that is a real person that cares about the patient that I'll do it. Staff efficient and professional. My appointment was at 845. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was promptly checked in. My name was called within about 5 minutes and I was shown to a examination room. The xray tech came to do an xray on my hip (1 yr visit post hip replacement by Dr Horton) and then I waited maybe 5 -10 minutes for the Dr. Dr Horton answered the few questions I had and then I left. Total time there maybe 20 minutes. Very satisfied.

I would definitely recommend Dr Horton for hip replacement surgery. He has always answered any of my questions about the surgery and recovery plus did an excellent job on the replacement. I am walking 3-4 miles daily and doing aerobics again. I feel like he gave my back my mobility. Hope he continues to help others for many years.
