About Vijian Dhevan
Dr. Vijian Dhevan runs a high-volume practice that balances surgical oncology and general surgery cases. He is board-certified in general surgery, with advanced training certification in surgical oncoplastics and bariatric surgery. Dr. Dhevan also specializes in conventional breast-conserving surgery (BCS) and oncoplastic breast surgery (OBS). He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and served as Chief of Surgery at Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, Texas. Dr. Dhevan treats each patient and their family with great respect, while he strives to help them understand the best treatment options available. Educating them on the advantages and disadvantages of each option and their individualized treatment plans is a cornerstone of his practice. Being able to improve patients’ lives brings Dr. Dhevan great pride. Only comment is directly to the Dr. Himself - he done a great surgery. I laid in hospital bed 5 days without seeing him or his P A. A persons health improves knowing someone in medical field other than the nurses are interested in how they are doing & getting along. Yes, I know this is reported on chart from the nurses, but the confidence just isn't there without seeing a Dr!! A persons faith was handed over to the Dr.
