Valley Baptist Health System invites you to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with us. Lasting from mid-September through October, Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to explore the vibrant cultures, enduring traditions and impactful contributions of Hispanic Americans.

How does this year’s theme resonate with you?

"‘Together, We Are More / Unidos, Somos Más’ reflects the power of community and connection. It reminds us that when we embrace our diverse experiences and support one another, we can make a greater impact on the people and communities we serve."

How has your heritage or personal experience influenced how you approach your work?

“My personal experiences have shaped how I approach my work every day by instilling resilience, empathy, and a deep commitment to serving others with dignity and respect. Growing up with values centered on family, hard work, and respect has influenced how I lead, collaborate, and build relationships. I strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and supported, recognizing that diverse perspectives make our teams stronger and enhance the care and service we provide. These experiences inspire me to lead with compassion, integrity, and humility while seeking opportunities to uplift others and make a positive impact in the communities we serve."
