Valley Baptist Health System invites you to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with us. Lasting from mid-September through October, Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to explore the vibrant cultures, enduring traditions and impactful contributions of Hispanic Americans.

How does this year’s National Hispanic Heritage Month theme – “Together, We Are More / Unidos, Somos Más” – resonate with you?

“Together, We are more / Unidos somos Mas” resonates with me because it talks about the power of numbers when we come together for a common purpose. Together we can accomplish more and most importantly provide better care to the community we serve.

How has your heritage or personal experience influenced how you approach your work?

My heritage and personal experience have taught me the importance of hard work, compassion, and taking care of one another. Those values remind me to treat every patient, family, and coworker with respect, empathy and kindness.
