Cardiac Catheterization
Since 1977, Valley Baptist has been a leader in heart care, opening the first cardiac catheterization lab in the Rio Grande Valley, where angioplasty and stent procedures were first performed. We also opened the Valley’s first open-heart surgical suite and electrophysiology lab for arrhythmia care.
Today, Valley Baptist proudly operates five state-of-the-art catheterization suites featuring advanced imaging technology that provides detailed, real-time views of the heart for precision and safety.
