We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies
such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.
We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as
well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and
guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.
Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.
Here at Valley Baptist, we’re committed to providing attentive staff and high-quality, compassionate care in South Texas. Our patient-centered staff understands that each person who comes through our doors is someone’s father, mother, sister,
brother or child, and we strive to treat everyone as though he or she were a member of our own family.
Our Commitment to Quality
Everything we do at Valley Baptist Medical Center is focused on advancing your care and satisfaction. We provide the resources, training and standards of care necessary to create a culture of compassion, and strive to make every interaction between staff
and patient a positive one.
We’re constantly working to improve your experience. Our caregivers do all that is possible to help ensure that you and your family experience safe, reliable care. We also strive to create an environment that distinguishes our hospitals as preferred
places to work and to practice medicine.
Measuring Clinical Quality
To us, quality improvement is an ongoing process, one in which we set high standards for ourselves and then continually evaluate our success in achieving these standards. We value transparency, and are committed to sharing our performance record with
you in an open and accurate manner.
American Heart Association — Get With The Guidelines Program
One way in which we measure our performance is with the Get With The Guidelines program. This hospital-based quality improvement program designed by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association provides hospital staff with performance
feedback in addition to research access, clinical tools, staff support and more.
What does all this mean for you? It means we never stop working to improve your care. We’ve received “Gold Plus” awards from the American Heart Association thanks to our efforts and we hope to continue to innovate with our services in
the future. Learn more about how our care has been recognized.
