Joseph M. Campbell, PharmD: is currently a PGY-1 resident at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Midwestern College of Pharmacy at Glendale in May 2024. Dr. Campbell’s professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and cardiovascular therapy. His research projects include assessing the use of tigecycline in combination treatment for carbapenem resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB), as well as evaluating differential benefit between tenecteplase and alteplase for treatment of acute ischemic stroke. Upon completion of his PGY-1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Campbell plans to obtain board certifications in pharmacotherapy and emergency medicine.
