Uyen Tran, PharmD: is currently a PGY-1 resident at Valley Baptist Brownsville. She received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from The University of Houston College of Pharmacy in May 2022. Dr. Tran is a member of American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Her professional interests include cardiology, emergency medicine, and ambulatory care. Her current research project focuses on “Evaluation of Recombinant Factor VIIa (Novoseven) in Post-Cardiac Surgery”, as well as “Low-dose versus High-dose steroid in COVID-19 in Non-invasive mechanical ventilation”. Upon completion of her PGY-1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Tran plans to obtain board certifications in pharmacotherapy and ambulatory care pharmacy.
