At Valley Baptist Medical Center, we want our visitor experience to be as welcoming and straightforward as our patient experience. So you can make the most of your visit, we’ve prepared resources including information on visitation rights, how to locate and send gifts to those in our care and more.

Visiting Hours

Valley Baptist Medical Center — Brownsville

General visiting hours: 9 a.m.–8 p.m. daily
Children over the age of 12 are welcome to visit patients or be in the waiting areas with adult supervision.

ICU visiting hours: 10 a.m.–1 p.m., 4–6 p.m., 8:30–10 p.m.
Neonatal ICU hours for parents and grandparents: 9 a.m.–1 p.m., 4–7 p.m.

Valley Baptist Medical Center — Harlingen

General hours: 9 a.m.–8 p.m. daily
Children over the age of 12 are welcome to visit patients or be in the waiting areas with adult supervision.

MICU hours: 1–1:30 p.m., 5–5:30 p.m., 8–8:30 p.m.
CCU, stroke hours: 9–9:30 a.m., 1–1:30 p.m., 5–5:30 p.m., 8–8:30 p.m.
Neonatal ICU hours for parents and grandparents: 11 a.m.–6 p.m., 9 p.m.–6 a.m.
