With over a decade of experience, Dr. Dahlhausen is a Double Boarded fellowship trained General Surgeon. Her robust practice covers everything from general elective surgical procedures to complex emergency general surgery and trauma. Fellowship trained in Emergency General Surgery, Trauma, and Critical Care at a robust and high acuity, high volume academic center, she prides herself in implementing the most up to date evidence based practices. Dr. Dahlhausen routinely utilizes minimally invasive and robotic techniques whenever possible to ensure faster recovery times for her patients. Commonly managed general surgery pathologies in her practice include gallbladder disease, hernias, soft tissue masses, and conditions of the small intestine and colon including management of diverticulitis. Additionally, she performs complex hernia repairs, reconstructive procedures, and colostomy reversals. Dr. Dahlhausen emphasizes a thoughtfully taylored and holistic approach to each patients care and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible outcomes for each patient.
