Volunteer at Valley Baptist

Utilize Your Unique Gifts

At Valley Baptist Medical Center, we consider our volunteers a vital part of treatment. Whether offering kind words or considerate gestures, your volunteer service has the power to renew hope in the hearts of our patients and their families. Become a vital part of the hospital and aid our patients, families, visitors and employees.

Hospital Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers serve in more than 30 different departments of the hospital. Duties range from office work to delivering patient items to driving a golf cart. Most volunteers work one-half day a week. However, there are many options available if you have fewer, or more, hours available to give. And you can work at a time that’s convenient for you — we have day, evening and weekend shifts available.

Our Student Volunteer Program

Students can also get involved at Valley Baptist. We offer a student summer program for those 15 years of age or older. Students select one of two summer sessions (June or July). Each session is Monday to Friday for three weeks, four hours a day. Applications for the summer program are accepted March 1, with a submission deadline of April 16.
