Valley Baptist Value Partners

Valley Baptist Value Partners

  • because employers want to show their employees that they are VALUED;
  • because employers are demanding VALUE in services they purchase and;
  • because business operations reflect their leadership’s VALUES, this is why Value Partners was created.

The Valley Baptist Value Partners Program is an employee care program that partners with community employers to provide an employee benefit which is holistic in nature. The goal of this partnership is to deliver a customized employee benefit package that attends to the mental, emotional and spiritual needs of employees and their workplace.

About our Employee Assistance Program
Employees and their family members who are experiencing problems at home or work may utilize the counseling services of Valley Baptist’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Employee Assistance Professionals are licensed mental health professionals with additional training in workplace wellness methods and technologies. EAP has offices in Harlingen and Brownsville that are open six days a week, with evening services available Monday through Thursday.

Spiritual Aspect of the Value Partners Program
Spiritual needs of employees are attended to by a professional chaplain, trained to provide confidential spiritual care. The Chaplain visits the worksite on a regular basis and is available for spiritual support, grief/crisis care, officiating at workplace memorial services, hospital visits, and other services. Chaplains are under the direction of Valley Baptist’s Pastoral Services Department. Professional Chaplains neither represent, nor promote any religious perspective and instead, support the beliefs and values of each employee.

Synergistic Impact
The synergistic impact of a holistic employee care program results in healthier, higher functioning employees and greater organizational productivity and wellness. Professional chaplaincy provides the onsite presence to employees that represents the goodwill of the organization and provides the mechanism to link with Employee Assistance Professionals, as well as, other health and wellness services.

Documented benefits to employers who provide this type of employee care program include: lowered health care costs, increased productivity, reduced turnover, improved workforce attitudes, organizational loyalty, commitment to work goals, reduced conflicts, reduced stress, reduced accidents, positive corporate culture and a decrease in absenteeism.
