Pay for Performance & Top Performers
As a member of Valley Health Care Network and in agreement with Valley Baptist Health Plans you become eligible for our Physician Pay for Performance program.

Pay for performance programs offer financial incentives to physicians for achieving specific measurable quality and efficiency objectives. Our plan considers physician performance measures which are evidence-based, broadly accepted and clinically relevant as well as a risk adjusted cost factor. Funding for the rewards is the result of a gain-sharing agreement between VBHP and VHCN and is only available to VHCN members who apply to participate.

While this annual cash distribution is contingent upon VBHP’s financial performance, it is the goal of the health plan to establish an ongoing pay for performance program that links evidence-based performance measures to financial incentives.
