Resources For Staff
The chaplains of Valley Baptist offer support services to staff as well as patients and their families. Here are ways chaplains may be supportive to staff:
  • Pastoral/Spiritual Support
This support can be formal or informal. We pray with or for staff about concerns. We want to offer our   presence to you in times of anxiety, sadness, joy or frustration. Chaplains can be especially supportive in times of loss or grief.

  • Short-term Spiritual/Pastoral Counseling
Chaplains may aide staff in making life and work decisions through reflective listening techniques and helping to clarify values. Sometimes life can be spiritually distressing and chaplains are available to the staff of Valley Baptist Health System. Chaplains will respect all religious traditions.
