Our Intensive Care Units at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen are specialized for critically ill patients that require continuous or frequent monitoring. We have four adult ICUs; Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).

Here at Valley Baptist we offer modern, high-tech Intensive Care Units where patients receive highly specialized care and close observation from a skilled nursing staff. Specializing in the management of adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients, Valley Baptist - Harlingen's ICUs are designed to offer first-rate care to its patients.

While providing excellent care, ICU staff develop a multidisciplinary care plan to provide ongoing treatment and care for patients.  During a stay in ICU patients will be visited by therapists and other hospital care givers.
