without an expensive hospital stay. Our outpatient surgery
center is designed to facilitate surgery at a lower cost and
reduce the total time to a few hours. Because we use the latest
equipment and microsurgical procedures, your risk of
complications or discomfort are held to minimum.
Your eye surgeon performs the procedure, assisted by our surgical nurses and trained technologists. After your surgery, you will rest in your own recovery room where you will be attended by a nurse and may visit with your family until you are ready to go home. Product Information Valley Eye Surgery Center provides a variety of eye surgery at a reasonable cost and in an efficient manner. The highly trained ophthalmologists perform surgery for numerous medical conditions. The surgeries they perform include cataract extraction with implantation of an intraocular lens (including bifocal lenses), glaucoma surgery (including laser), excision of pterygium, surgery to correct eyelid problems (droopy eyelids, turning in or out of eyelids, etc.), cornea transplant, laser surgery for opacified capsules, implantation of intraocular lenses for people who had previously had their cataracts removed, and plastic surgery of the eyelids. Service Information At Valley Eye Surgery Center, we will file your insurance forms for you. As a courtesy, monthly statements are also sent to assist you in determining the status of your account. As a Medicare Certified Surgery Center, we accept Medicare assignment for surgeries. We also have a contract with Medicaid and certain other insurance companies. The patient is responsible to pay any deductible amount, 20% co-insurance, or any balance not covered by your insurance company.
