Valley Baptist Raymondville Dialysis Center
The Valley Baptist Raymondville Dialysis Center was opened in 2002 by Valley Baptist Medical Center to serve the dialysis needs of the community. It is licensed by the Texas Department of Health as an End Stage Renal Disease Facility for sixteen stations.

The mission of the Valley Baptist Raymondville Dialysis Center is to improve care for End-Stage Renal Disease patients by fostering state of the art dialysis care that is consistent with current professional knowledge, medically necessary, efficient, high quality; to protect End-Stage Renal Disease patients from harm, and to provide all modalities of dialysis services, nutritional counseling, and rehabilitation counseling.

Our Staff

Our staff consists of professional and technical individuals highly skilled and competent to meet the diverse needs of the Dialysis patient.
  • Direct Patient Care Staff which provides patient care by initiating, monitoring and terminating the dialysis treatment.
     
  • Charge Nurse (RN)
     
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
     
  • Renal Transplant Educator: Together with the attending Nephrologist, reviews transplantation centers’ protocols to determine kidney transplant eligibility for the dialysis patient.
     
  • Technical Staff: Care for equipment and the water system utilized to perform a dialysis treatment.
     
  • Bio-Medical Technician
     
  • Nephrologist: A physician board certified in Nephrology (kidney specialist) who is responsible for the dialysis prescription.
     
  • Administrative Staff: Responsible for the total quality of care provided to each dialysis patient.
     
  • Medical Director
     
  • RN Director
     
  • Renal Dietitian: Licensed/Registered Dietitian who provides nutritional counseling and education to the dialysis patient.
     
  • Social Service: Licensed Master prepared Social Worker who provides psychosocial support, links to transportation providers and other resources for support of the dialysis patient.
     
  • Billing Representative/Receptionist: An expert in insurance and billing matters to assist in understanding the charges and billing process of the End Stage Renal Disease program.
     
  • Pastoral Services: A hospital chaplain available, upon request, to provide spiritual support and counseling.
