Dialysis
Valley Baptist features two separate Dialysis Centers conveniently located in Harlingen and Raymondville. We hope you find this web page helpful in learning more about our Center and its operation.

Dialysis

Dialysis is a life-saving treatment, which provides some of the functions normally done by healthy kidneys. Dialysis is a way to cleanse the blood in your body.

CleanlinessPhoto of Dialysis Patient

Valley Baptist Dialysis Center is a non-reuse facility, which is safer for the patient.  The water used for dialysis meets all environmental standards.  The cleaning process is referred to as the "StairStep" process, which gradually removes organic materials, minerals and bacteria from the water.

Social Workers

Social Workers are available and offer a variety of services to the patient and family both financially and emotionally.

Convenience

Dialysis treatments can be scheduled Monday through Saturday at various times in the morning or afternoon. The times for the morning shift are 5:20, 5:35, 5:50 and 6:05. For the p.m. shift the times are 10:30, 10:45, 11:00 and 11:15. For those patients who work or attend school, these hours are also considered when arranging schedules treatment times.  If you cannot make your appointment, please call the Center at (956)389-2345 at least one hour before your scheduled time to reschedule.
