Transient Patients

Valley Baptist Dialysis Center accepts transient patients.  In order to obtain the essential information and to provide a continuum of care, contacting the patient's home facility is necessary in arranging treatments.  The Center will do everything within its ability to provide the same treatment or a reasonably comparable treatment.

Hepatitis Patients

Valley Baptist Dialysis Center takes all necessary precautions to treat patients with Hepatitis.  An isolation room is used for patients with
Hepatitis B. 

Pediatric Patients

The Center accepts pediatric patients for dialysis treatment.  In order to accept the child, the patient must weigh more than 30 pounds.

Privacy Rules

Valley Baptist Dialysis Center adheres strictly to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 Guidelines regarding patient privacy.  The Center has a computerized documentation system which provides easy access but restriction to unauthorized personnel.  Information can only be accessed if the patient authorizes the release of information, or if it is required by law.
