The Ambulatory Surgery Center at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen is a multi-specialty facility where most minor surgeries are performed. Our facility consists of six operating rooms, a post-anesthesia care unit and a decontamination/sterile instrument processing area. Dedicated to improving the health status of its patients, our staff provides excellent patient care in an environment of open communication, fiscal responsibility, continuous quality improvement, and integrity. We are committed to providing professional care in an efficient, cost-effective environment to individuals requiring routine elective surgery which does not require hospitalization.

The outpatient surgery center allows you to have surgery, spend a short amount of time recovering at the center, then return home where you are most comfortable to complete your recovery.
