Sandi Jo Funk Hospice Program
“We do not add years to life, but life to years.”

Sandi Jo Funk Hospice is the oldest, most experienced hospice program in the Rio Grande Valley with 19 years of service. We offer the additional advantage of an affiliation with the Valley’s leading hospital, Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen and Valley Baptist Medical Center - Brownsville.

We provide quality health care for patients in the comfort of their own home. Working hand-in-hand with physicians, we oversee day to day care and educate family members on how to best assist the needs their loved ones.

Specialists in Palliative Care

Our nurses are experts in palliative care, and have special certification in pain management and symptom control. We have our own pharmacy staff to provide our patients with compounded medications for symptom control.

We Make House Calls

Our compassionate staff can provide first-class hospice care for the terminally ill in the comfort of your home in Cameron, Hidalgo or Willacy County. We are a not-for-profit service that accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private pay and private insurance.
