Behavioral health covers a wide variety of health problems. Valley Baptist’s Behavioral Health Services Department offers programs and services designed to help you conquer your challenges and keep your career and personal life flowing smoothly.

Inpatient Services

Our adult inpatient services offer confidential inpatient care that treats the patient with regard to mental, emotional, social, physical, spiritual and cultural needs. Patients admitted to the inpatient unit are dealing with acute mental illness and require a protective environment. While most patients are diagnosed with mental illness, they may also have active medical problems. At Valley Baptist, treatment focuses on acute symptom relief, with self-responsibility and the utilization of multiple services as part of the approach to treatment. We provide 24-hour nursing care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, case managers and chemical dependency specialists.

Outpatient Services

We offer individualized, goal-directed services in our outpatient programs, including diagnostic interviews, individual therapy, medication management, marital, family and group therapy, educational sessions and psychiatric consultations. Intensive outpatient programs and partial hospitalization provide treatment through a multidisciplinary staff. These programs promote rapid stabilization of symptoms through supportive and educational sessions. We offer help with:

Our staff consists of board-certified psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, licensed marriage and family therapists.
