Materials Management

staff. Materials Management appreciates your service as a
current supplier and welcome your insight as a potential new
supplier. This summary is provided to help you do business with
us.
Guidelines
- Valley Baptist Health System (VBHS) is a member of VHA
and utilizes the group purchasing organization, Novation,
for contract pricing whenever possible.
- New product introductions will be evaluated through our
internal value analysis process that starts with a request
to the Materials Management office. Whenever possible,
proposals and pricing should be provided in an electronic
format. For your convenience, we have provided the VBHS
Credit Information.
- When visiting us for any reason, each supplier
representative must have an appointment and sign in at the
Materials Management office. The assigned badge must be worn
at all times during your visit. Vendor parking is provided
next to the Materials Management office.
- All information regarding VBHS and supplier transactions
is confidential. Any breach of this confidentiality will be
subject to the severest sanctions possible.
- Approval of contracts between VBHS and their suppliers
will be expedited when the contract language includes the
minimum terms and conditions found in our Essential Elements
of Contracts and Corporate Compliance Statement.
- In addition, when conditions exist for the supplier to
have access to protected information, a signed Business
Associate Agreement may be required.
