Outpatient Services
With recent advances in surgery procedures and anesthesia, many surgeries performed today allow the patient to recover and return home on the same day.
Outpatient surgery, when appropriate, has proven to reduce costs, reduce stress for the patient, speed up the process of healing, and reduce the time lost from work and family life.
Outpatient surgery is also called "Day Surgery," "In-and-Out Surgery" and "Ambulatory Surgery". We are proud of our Valley Baptist Medical Center- Harlingen state-of-the-art outpatient facility located in the East Tower and we look forward to serving you.

Once here, patients enter the East Tower to the Brown Grand Lobby then proceed to our Information Desk. Patients can walk past the information desk to the right and through the next corridor to check in at the Sign In desk.
