Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen is now using a "Da Vinci" robot to help in many surgical procedures.
Urologist Erin McCormick said there have been major advances in the field of robotics.
She said the Da Vinci allows doctors to magnify and dissect nerves with greater precision.
