About Sesame
Sesame Family Clinic is a Family Practice clinic. We have been servicing Harlingen and the neighboring community since 2001.

Services
We provide medical care to the whole family, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Our services include in-house labs, mobile x-ray service, EKG’s, Bone Density screenings.

Meet the Staff

Matt Loewen, D.O.
Dr. Matt Loewen obtained his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He completed his internship at North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Board Certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Dr. Loewen specializes in family practice. He was previously in private practice in Dallas and McAllen. Dr. Loewen has joined Sesame Family Clinic in 2005.

Juan M. Briones, P.A.-C
Juan M. Briones has been in practice at Sesame Family clinic since 2002.  Juan is originally from La Feria, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio in 1999.  He received his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.  His hobbies include fishing, hunting and playing/coaching softball.  His current goal is to achieve world peace.  

Michele A. Cash, P.A.-C
Michele Cash, PA-C, has been with Sesame Family Clinic since 2005 and is a valley native.  After her service in the United States Marine Corps, Michele attended Valley Baptist Medical Center School of Vocational Nursing where she graduated with honors in 1994.  She continued her medical career when she graduated cum laude from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Texas Pan American in 2001.  Michele is an adult leader for the 4-H program and volunteers at local livestock shows.  She lives in Harlingen with her husband, Todd, and their three lovely daughters, Jennifer, Cara, and Sade.
