The Outpatient Pharmacy is a full service pharmacy located in the East Tower of Valley Baptist - Harlingen.  Staffed by professional and friendly employees, the pharmacy sells a number of items including, over the counter medication, toothpaste and a number of other items. 

Hours:
9:00 am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
Closed Saturday and Sunday and most major holidays

Services

The Outpatient Pharmacy fills prescription for patients enrolled in one of Valley Baptist Medical Center’s outpatient programs, Golden Palms residents, Hospice patients and employees.

Patients that are discharged from the hospital or emergency department may also have prescriptions filled by the Outpatient Pharmacy.

The pharmacy is not open to the general public.

Benefits

Since the Outpatient Pharmacy does not sell to the general public, the pharmacy qualifies for significant reductions in drug costs. Patients eligible to receive their medications from Valley Baptist's Outpatient Pharmacy will usually see a significant savings in their medication costs.

If discharged from the hospital, the pharmacist is able to contact the physician, nursing unit, or the hospital pharmacists to clarify any potential concerns.
