The 1st Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is set for May 2, 2008, at the Puesta del Sol in Harlingen. It will be a festive evening of dining and dancing. Party goers will be welcomed by strolling Mariachis, taste a unique style of Mexican food prepared by Chef Byron of the Magnolia Grille, and then dancing under the stars to the music of Easy Money.

Not only will this be a fun affair, more importantly, this Fiesta will benefit the new Ronald McDonald House Family Room to be located at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. The Ronald McDonald Family Room extends the comfort of a Ronald McDonald House to a hospital setting. Situated just steps from neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, the Family Room will provide a place to escape the stress and tension of the hospital.

The Foundation Circle is an organization whose mission is to create health care awareness and promote excellence in health care delivery in the community, and otherwise assist the Valley Baptist Foundation in carrying out its mission. The mission of the Valley Baptist Foundation exists to assure philanthropic support for state-of-the-art technology and facilities, advanced health care services, community programs and medical education offered at our hospitals.
