The event date we’ve all been waiting for is set! The 6th Annual Children’s Gala, YEEHAW!, will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007. Our rodeo was so much FUN last year- we are doing it again!

We are looking forward to celebrating our 6th year of making a difference for children all over the valley by offering specialized services just for them! Proceeds from this event will go towards a new Pediatric Emergency Department located at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen and pediatric renovation in Brownsville. These facilities will enable children to have their own child-friendly waiting area, free from the unpleasant world of adult emergencies, such as overdoses and psychiatric disorders. They’ll be treated by specially trained staff and will have faster service than currently available. Both projects will begin construction later this year.
