3rd Annual Black Tie Bash
Thank you! Over $50,000 raised to benefit the Women's Center in Brownsville. Plus, $22,000 given to help the Carolyn Fund.
Our 3rd Annual Black Tie Bash held January 9th at the Brownsville Events Center was a huge success thanks to our donors! Guests enjoyed an elegant evening featuring exquisite food and fantastic musical entertainment by “The Pictures’, a band from Austin, Texas. More importantly, we raised over $50,000 which will benefit Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, specifically Women’s Services. During the gala, a short video played with an appeal to help endow the Carolyn Fund. The fund provides breast prosthesis for cancer survivors in need of assistance. We appreciate the generosity of those who attended and for those who responded to the appeal. Over $ 22,000.00 was raised for this fund and we are well on our way to establishing the endowment. We hope you’ll join us next year, on January 15, 2010 for the 4th Annual Black Tie Bash.
Of course, the success of this event would not have been possible without the commitment of the community. We especially want to thank Cardon Healthcare, our presenting sponsor and Aramark who helped make this event possible.
