Volunteer at Valley Baptist

At Valley Baptist Medical Center, we consider our volunteers a vital part of treatment. When you serve with us, you restore our patients’ health and spirits.

Whether offering kind words or considerate gestures, your volunteer service has the power to renew hope in the hearts of our patients and their families. That’s Valley Baptist Care.

Utilize your unique gifts

Our volunteers express their faith by utilizing their unique talents to serve others. Our diverse healthcare services afford a variety of volunteer opportunities, whether working directly with patients or in other vital areas.

Volunteers serve in more than 30 different departments of the hospital. Duties range from office work to delivering patient items to driving a golf cart. Most volunteers work one-half day a week. However, there are many options available if you have fewer, or more, hours available to give.

Valley Baptist offers a student summer program.  Students select one of three summer sessions (June, July or August).  Each session is Monday – Friday for three weeks, 4 hours per day.  Applications for the summer program are accepted March 1 - April 15. You must be 15 years old to be accepted as a volunteer.

Get started

Applications for adults can be picked up at each hospital daily between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. If you would like an application mailed or emailed to you, or if you have other questions, please contact the correct facility below. Once the application process is complete you will be contacted for an interview.  All volunteers wear a uniform of a shirt or coat, available from the volunteer office at cost. Volunteers wear their own pants and tennis shoes.
