Guardian Angel

After receiving care at Valley Baptist Medical Center, many of our patients wish to express their gratitude. They may have noticed the special attention of a nurse, physician or other caregiver during their stay or visit, and ask if they can express their thanks in some way.

The answer is “yes.”

Patients, their families and friends now have the opportunity to make a donation in any amount to the Valley Baptist Foundation in honor of a physician, nurse, volunteer, therapist, housekeeper, or other caregiver. The “Guardian Angel” is presented with a recognition letter and a Guardian Angel lapel pin to wear with pride. Once the caregiver has been recognized 5 times, he or she will receive a gold Guardian Angel lapel pin.

We at Valley Baptist Medical Center are grateful that you have placed your trust in us as your preferred healthcare provider and we are happy to serve you in any way we can.

More people in Cameron County now turn to Valley Baptist than to any other medical provider — and with good reason. We’re the Valley’s largest nonprofit healthcare corporation, with hospitals, physician clinics, a mental health facility, health plan, independent living center and home-health agencies throughout the area.

Most importantly, our affiliated doctors, nurses and other staff have an unwavering commitment to treating every patient with the utmost dignity and compassion.

That’s Valley Baptist Care.
