As our organization moves toward the future, we focus on five strategic initiatives in order to achieve a shared vision to accomplish our mission as the leading health care provider in South Texas.
Integration
Integration addresses how things work together, with an emphasis on standardization, coordination and communication. In addition to hospitals in Harlingen and Brownsville, Valley Baptist also operates Valley Baptist Health Plan, Home Health, Rehab Services, Bobby and Robin Farris Health and Fitness Center, just to name a few.
Simplicity
Simplicity addresses how the Health System can make things easier from the customer's perspective. We will examine how to make it easier for patients and physicians to access and use our system. As a complex industry, Valley Baptist will make it easier for people understand what we do.
Quality and Excellence
Quality and Excellence in care and service are the focus of our improvement efforts. Six Sigma initiatives represent our commitment to quality and improvement. We will continue to enhance our systems and processes so that we provide consistent and reliable results, providing the best possible outcomes for each of our patients.
People
People are the most important part of our organization. Patients, employees, physicians, volunteers and visitors are the focus of all we do.
Growth and Development
