Nicolas Morales, E.R.
At 1240 a.m. a volunteer called for someone from the E.R. to go
pick up a man that was bleeding. It was thought that the
patient had cut himself. The PBX operator was asked to get a
volunteer to get a wheelchair to bring the patient to E.R.
Instead, the PBX operator called Nick and asked him to go and
without hesitation he went to see the patient. It turned out
to be that this patient had just been discharged from 2 Tower
and was bleeding a lot from his arm where the I.V. was at. Nick
was able to stop the bleeding by applying pressure and the man
was happy because he thought Nick was going to put him back in
the hospital when all he wanted to do was go home. Thanks to
Nick none of that happened and the man went home.
